Anstett also volunteered to cook meals for Purdue University church groups. She would cook large meals for the Benton County Highway Department employees two or three times a year, just to thank the workers for their hard work. She also enjoyed sharing with her fellow co-workers during her employment at Oxford Bank and Purdue University.
